UPDATE 2/02/07 - member Yoh has added 7 working vendors, check update

under database post for link.

 

this is something ive been wanting to do since tbc went live

earlier this month, is to map out Silvermoon City, spawn it and

share it with Emupedia community.

 

this will be 100% Blizzlike in spawns.

 

since I play official, today i went through Silvermoon City,

Falconwing Square and the start areas, took screenshots

of all the npc's, this took over an hour.

 

Im using Max's WDB tool so i can inject all the wdb content

right into my Mangos database, this will be for 2.0.6.

I havent seen anyone start working on Silvermoon City,

and i figured, might as well. If anyone wants too

help join this project, post in this thread, you dont need

too have official account, thats not needed, what i do

need is people who have knowledge of mysql & mangos

like me.

 

We can use this existing thread for the project,

down the road, if i feel comfortable with members

and trust them, i will share my contact info, i wiped out my

name in the screenshots, to protect my identity from blizz

with regards to my official account.

 

once the spawns are all in place, and create a list of all

the npc's (with correct professions, guilds, levels) i will

export the database and share it with Emupedia community

only.

 

from there, we can start creating all the content for Silvermoon

city, the trainers, the quest givers ect.. i actually can do all

of this myself, but if others wanna help, post.

 

its a start, but Silvermoon will be done for all too enjoy.

PHASE #1 is done

 

this is the entire npc list with model #'s

this includes the starting area, Falconwing square, outside Silvermoon

and inside the city itself, next step is to spawn the database, and

export it, and let everyone start working on it.

now before people start asking, like..

 

does vendors work?

does trainers work?

does questgivers work?

 

this answer is not yet, this project is designed too create as close

to 100% blizzlike principal spawns, and we have reached that goal!

 

Now Phase 5 begins!

 

which means people like YOU, can help create the content for

Silvermoon City, if you are going to be involved in this project,

post which npc you are gonna work on, once done, post your SQL

and i will add it too the main database, export it and repost for all

with the update, slowly but surely, we will have a 100% functioning

city.

 

I would like too thank everyone who has helped, pm'ed, im'ed,

this release is only for Emupedia Community.

 

This database was originally shared by our very own Fanatik's

with his 6144 flying mounts release back in the beta days.

 

so make sure everyone give him mad props.

 

someone took that database over at ragezone, and created :

MaNGOS TBC Server 2.0.6.6337 its still has the local only

"Emupedia TBC Sandbox" (that Fan released) but this has the

realm loop & Teleport fix.

 

so thats where i came in, i took that work, and here we are.

 

Ive also included in the package, an item list with the #'s,

a npc list with the #'s.

 

this does have Tier 4/5 and level 70 raid sets, the info for those

can be found in the item_list_info.txt packed with the database

folders, not all the tier 5 sets are listed, I think the Driud & Shamm

sets still need to be added.

 

Flying mounts still work on this release.

move onto Phase 6, i will start spawning these zones and have an

update next week hopefully Feb. 4-10 2007
